To the Absolute Team,

On behalf of the SADD committee, Wildwood FCSS and Grand Trunk High School, we would like to thank you for bringing your amazing program to our school! The students LOVED the band, RIDES AGAIN. Many of our students bought CD’s that day and are really talking a lot about the powerful lyrics.

The personal testimonies shared by your group members also had an impact on a lot of our students. It was good for our students to hear that no matter what is happening in their homes or personal lives, they can overcome struggles and be the best they can be. Many teens today have struggle with low self-esteem, sometimes it’s because they haven’t received many positive messages.

One student said that the presentation taught her to, “Walk in my own footsteps and don’t believe the lies”. Other students said that the presentation taught them to, “stand up for others” and, “to be a leader, not a follower”.

Our staff also enjoyed the presentation, their comments include; “ABSOLUTE was the most professional presentation that I have ever seen at a school”. “I think the real life experiences were a great thing for the students to hear”. “The ABSOLUTE group brought a powerful and unforgettable message to our students”. The ABSOLUTE team was well-spoken, humorous, kind and intelligent. They provided important information as the message was loud & clear: Everyone is important and has value”.
