On Tuesday Dec 13th, Absolute came to Bear Creek Secondary School (Barrie) for the 3rd Straight year with their multimedia motivational assembly “Everyday Heroes”.
This assembly, similar to the previous ones, was great. It focused on how students can make positive life choices that will affect themselves, the community and the world. The combination of music, lights, as well as personal stories from the cast members made the event a powerful learning experience. As well, given the time of year, it reinforced the message of our global responsibility with regards to working together to end world poverty. This vision fits very nicely into Simcoe County District School Board’s Character Education traits including responsibility, co-operation, empathy, and caring.
On behalf of Bear Creek Secondary School, I would like to thank the members of the crew for their commitment to achieving positive change within the lives of our youth.
Sincerely,
Chris Samis
