Elliot Lake Secondary School had the group ABSOLUTE made a presentation in our gym on Monday, November 22nd at 8:45 a.m. The group was energetic, and certainly caught the students’ attention.
The feedback from students indicates the messages on alcohol, sex, drugs and bullying were received. These topics are a focus this semester in the school’s TAP program.
There was also an interest in the “Hero Holiday” and in the chat line. The topic of bullying leading to suicide was of particular interest as the school had experienced the trauma of that nature in September.
